Basketball Recap: Firestone Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Firestone's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 69-38 victory over the North Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-41 on January 10th.

Firestone's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14. As for North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firestone will welcome Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against John Hay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
