Basketball Recap: Center Point Comes Up Short

Center Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Shades Valley Mounties and fell 63-31. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Center Point still got an impressive performance from Jayshaun Irby, who posted ten points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Dontarius Acoff, who had five points and five rebounds.

Center Point's record is now 6-15. As for Shades Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 20-5.
