Soccer Recap: Apex Finishes Even with Broughton

On Wednesday, neither the Apex Cougars nor the Broughton Capitals could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Abigail Lowe was handed one for the Cougars, while the Capitals got theirs courtesy of Elena Berra.

Emily Degnan and Eliana Butler scored both of Apex's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.
