Baseball Recap: Mohave Accelerated Comes Up Short

Mohave Accelerated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the River Valley Dust Devils, falling 18-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 21-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Mohave Accelerated saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Picard, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Mohave Accelerated's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for River Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.

Mohave Accelerated has already played their next contest, a 7-6 loss against Chinle on the 6th. As for River Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-7 win against Pahrump Valley on the 6th.
