Soccer Game Preview: Christ Presbyterian Academy vs. Cane Ridge

The Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions will take on the Cane Ridge Ravens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Christ Presbyterian Academy came up short against Father Ryan and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cane Ridge). They blew past Glencliff 8-1 on Thursday. Given Cane Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Glencliff are ranked 202nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Cane Ridge and bumps their season record up to 8-4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two games. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
