Basketball Game Preview: Grace and Glory Christian Eagles vs. Wiregrass Kings

The Grace and Glory Christian Eagles will head out to take on the Wiregrass Kings at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Grace and Glory Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cottondale, but they still walked away with a 32-28 victory.

Grace and Glory Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adleigh Wicks led the charge by putting up 14 points. Another player making a difference was Kayden Harrison, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wiregrass). They had just enough and edged out Edgewood Academy 48-45. While the Kings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Wiregrass' record now sits at 4-1. As for Grace and Glory Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Grace and Glory Christian came up short against Wiregrass when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 42-30. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
