Basketball Recap: Milwaukee Academy of Science Drops Season-High Score on Whitewater

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milwaukee Academy of Science). They breezed past the Whitewater Whippets to the tune of 126-49 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Milwaukee Academy of Science sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Milwaukee Academy of Science pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 91.1 points over those games. As for Whitewater, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milwaukee Academy of Science will host Madison East at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Whitewater, they will face off against Delavan-Darien at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Whitewater is facing Delavan-Darien at the right time seeing as Delavan-Darien is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
