Compass Academy wins going away against Iraan

Compass Academy's's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Iraan as Compass Academy made off with a 36-12 win. For Compass Academy, this counts as revenge for the 27-13 loss Iraan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Leading Compass Academy to victory were Lindsey Ruiz and Peyton Stewart. Ruiz scored 10 points along with 8 steals, while Stewart dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Ruiz has scored at least 25% of Compass Academy's points.
Compass Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Iraan, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Compass Academy will head out on the road to face off against McCamey at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Iraan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Balmorhea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
