Softball Recap: Shade Takes a Loss

Shade might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Rockwood who claimed the real prize. The Panthers came up short against the Rockets, falling 13-6. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Rockets since on Tuesday.

Patty Kovacs was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Shade's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rockwood, their record is now 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shade will head out to take on Ferndale at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rockwood, they will venture away from home to face off against Meyersdale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
