It was a proper cat-fight when Westville faced off against Paxton-Buckley-Loda on Tuesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Panthers. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Westville's third in a row) raised their record to 20-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Looking ahead, Westville will welcome Oakwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Comets have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, they will venture away from home to challenge Pontiac at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
