Softball Recap: Goshen Comes Up Short

East Noble hit Goshen with a 11-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The RedHawks lost 18-0 to the Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the RedHawks of the 8-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2017.

Goshen has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for East Noble, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Goshen will challenge Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pilgrims/Rockies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.21 runs per game on average), something the RedHawks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for East Noble, they will square off against New Haven at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
