East Nicolaus won the last time they faced Marysville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Kendall Kocher paced East Nicolaus' offense, picking up nine kills. Kocher got some help from Shelby Scoggins and her 11 assists. Makinze Massey controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

East Nicolaus' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Marysville, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

East Nicolaus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Gridley on the 23rd. As for Marysville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against University Prep on the 23rd.
