Basketball Game Preview: MOT Charter Mustangs vs. Conrad Science Red Wolves

MOT Charter is 1-8 against Conrad Science since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The MOT Charter Mustangs will challenge the Conrad Science Red Wolves at 6:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

MOT Charter is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Archmere Academy, who was ranked 12th at the time (MOT Charter was ranked 13th). MOT Charter enjoyed a cozy 56-42 victory over Archmere Academy on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Conrad Science had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 82-58 margin over the Force. The Red Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

MOT Charter's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Conrad Science, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

MOT Charter came up short against Conrad Science in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 70-57. Can MOT Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
