Basketball Recap: Penasco Comes Up Short

Penasco lost against McCurdy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Penasco Panthers fell 44-37 to the McCurdy Bobcats.

Penasco has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season. McCurdy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Penasco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McCurdy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bobcats take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
