Volleyball Recap: Howard Comes Up Short

Howard lost against Mary Persons back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Huskies fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Howard sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 26-28, 15-3.

Howard has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Mary Persons, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Coming up, Howard will be playing at home against Southwest at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mary Persons, they will host West Laurens at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
