Baseball Recap: Pawling Comes Up Short

Pawling lost against Briarcliff back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bears by a score of 10-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Pawling has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Briarcliff, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Pawling does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Briarcliff, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Hastings on the 28th.
