Basketball Game Preview: St. Andrew's Highlanders vs. Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles

The St. Andrew's Highlanders will square off against the Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, St. Andrew's humbled St. Stephen's Episcopal with a 61-34 victory. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Spartans are ranked 709th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Episcopal School of Dallas entered their tilt with Fort Worth Country Day on Friday with nine consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with ten. They took down the Falcons 74-60.

The win made it two in a row for St. Andrew's and bumps their season record up to 16-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25 points. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, their victory bumped their record up to 20-13.

St. Andrew's couldn't quite finish off Episcopal School of Dallas when the teams last played back in January and fell 50-48. Can St. Andrew's avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
