Soccer Recap: Gulf Coast Comes Up Short

Gulf Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the American Heritage Patriots, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Patriots are ranked first).

Gulf Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for American Heritage, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

As of now, neither Gulf Coast nor American Heritage have any future games scheduled.
