Blair wins going away against Temple City

Recap: Blair Vikings vs. Temple City Rams

The Blair Vikings waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Temple City 91-72. Given Blair's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 389th, while Temple City is ranked 801st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Blair found their leader in underclassman Timmy Anderson, who scored 52 points along with seven assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which Anderson has scored at least a third of Blair's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Serigne Deme, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 20 rebounds.

Blair has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Temple City, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Blair will look to defend their home court on Friday against San Marino at 7:00 p.m. As for Temple City, they will head out on the road to square off against South Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in South Pasadena's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
