Basketball Recap: Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience Comes Up Short

On Friday, Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience lost to the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles on the road by a 57-41 margin. Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Veritas Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lusajo Kasyupa, who posted 15 points and eight boards. Luke Niemeyer was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Veritas Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience will take on Gateway Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they will face off against North County Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
