Softball Recap: El Paso-Gridley Comes Up Short

El Paso-Gridley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-6 to the Dwight Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Saturday.

El Paso-Gridley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Dwight, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, El Paso-Gridley is taking a road trip to square off against Tri-Valley at 4:30 p.m. on April 7. As for Dwight, they will face off against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
