Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Cosmos vs. Leland & Gray Rebels

Springfield and Leland & Gray are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The Springfield Cosmos will head out to take on the Leland & Gray Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Springfield is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-57 heartbreaker at the hands of Twin Valley.

Meanwhile, Leland & Gray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Long Trail, falling 64-40.

Leland & Gray's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.
