Football Recap: Payette Takes a Loss

Payette extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 3-4. They took a blow against the McCall-Donnelly Vandals, falling 39-7. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 48-6 to the Vandals when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for McCall-Donnelly, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.0 points over those games.

It was another big night for Colt Value, who rushed for 128 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Payette is set to take on their familiar foe Cole Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, McCall-Donnelly will square off against rival Homedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Value and Kade Hall.
