Basketball Recap: Foss Takes a Loss

Foss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Clover Park Timberwolves, falling 62-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-23 back in January.

Andralynne Harless continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clover Park, going 6 for 11 on her way to 18 points and eight rebounds. Harless is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Fa?Aluaina Salanoa, who posted 11 points along with eight steals and six assists.

Foss' defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Clover Park, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foss will face off against Orting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Orting has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Clover Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eatonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eatonville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Clover Park likes a good challenge.
