Baseball Recap: Sierra Lutheran Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pyramid Lake last Friday, Sierra Lutheran came back down to earth. The Sierra Lutheran Falcons fell just short of the West Wendover Wolverines by a score of 10-8 on Friday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Matt Fahey was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-2-1. As for West Wendover, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Wendover beat Sierra Lutheran by a score of 18-4 on Saturday.
