Basketball Recap: Alcester-Hudson Victorious

Alcester-Hudson hadn't done well against Parker recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Alcester-Hudson Cubs walked away with a 32-21 victory over the Parker Pheasants. For the Cubs, this counts as revenge for the 41-35 win the Pheasants walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2016.

Alcester-Hudson's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Parker, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alcester-Hudson will finish 2024 at home by hosting Colman-Egan at 7:15 p.m. on December 30th. Colman-Egan will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Alcester-Hudson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Parker, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beresford at 2:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
