Soccer Recap: Sandwich Comes Up Short on the Road Against Byron

Sandwich kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 8-0 to the Byron Tigers. If Sandwich were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Byron when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The win got Byron back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Sandwich is taking a road trip to face off against Plano at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Sandwich's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Byron, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverdale at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
