Affton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 30-29 win over the Lutheran South Lancers. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 40-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Coming up, Affton will venture away from home to square off against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lutheran South, they will take on Cabool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
