Soccer Recap: Wheaton North Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wheaton North can now relate to. They fell just short of the Glenbard West Hilltoppers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Wheaton North couldn't push the score so high this time.

Wheaton North's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Glenbard West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6-4.

Wheaton North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glenbard West, they will challenge Wheaton-Warrenville South at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheaton-Warrenville South's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Glenbard West's offense will have their work cut out for them.
