New Castle gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They put the hurt on Indianapolis Bishop Chatard with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as New Castle also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

New Castle never let Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 26-24.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Castle is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Center Grove at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, they will head out to take on Heritage Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
