Basketball Recap: Kaitlynn Eastham's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Clay-Battelle over Valley

Clay-Battelle lost against Valley back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees fell 40-33 to the Valley Lumberjacks.

Clay-Battelle lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaitlynn Eastham, who posted four points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two). Ali Hellyer was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Clay-Battelle's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Clay-Battelle will challenge Hundred at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
