Preview: Crest Chargers vs. North Gaston Wildcats        
        
		
            
 The Crest Chargers will head out on the road to  square off against  the North Gaston Wildcats at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Crest's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last seven matchups.
 Crest pushed their score all the way to 62 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a  73-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Point.
 Meanwhile, North Gaston's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their eighth straight  loss. They fell to Ashbrook  46-40.
 Despite the  loss, North Gaston saw an underclassman step up:  Jaleila Littlejohn  scored 20 points along with seven  rebounds and five  steals. That was a full 50% of North Gaston's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Whitney Brown was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Crest's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for North Gaston, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-18.
 Everything went Crest's way against North Gaston in their previous meeting  back in January as Crest made off with a  63-43 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was   Littlejohn, who  scored 30 points along with five  rebounds and two  steals.
