Football Recap: Granbury Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Granbury had lost seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-3 to make it eight. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Ryan Raiders. The game marked the first time this year in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Austin Reeves threw for 38 yards on five of 11 attempts.

As for Ryan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 32.5 points this season.

Ryan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quin Henigan, who threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Another back making a difference was Tre'Vaughn Reynolds, who gained 164 total yards and a touchdown.

Coincidentally, Granbury and Ryan will both be playing Aledo the next time they take the field. The Raiders will host the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
