Volleyball Recap: Farrell Takes a Loss

Farrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Wilmington Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Farrell took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-17.

Farrell's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wilmington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Farrell is set to square off against their familiar foe Commodore Perry at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wilmington will face off against rival West Middlesex at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
