Football Game Preview: Meridian Trojans vs. Lynden Christian Lyncs + How To Watch

The Meridian Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Lynden Christian Lyncs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Meridian will head out to face Lynden Christian after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Trojans took a blow against Nooksack Valley, falling 47-20. Despite 279 more yards than the Pioneers, the Trojans couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Meanwhile, Lynden Christian and Mt. Baker were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Lynden Christian suffered a 34-33 loss. The loss was the Lyncs' first of the season.

Meridian will need to focus on slowing down Chris Kooiman, one of several Lynden Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Boyce Robertson, who picked up 82 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Lynden Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Meridian and Lynden Christian were almost perfectly matched up in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but Meridian suffered an agonizing 30-29 defeat. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
