Football Game Preview: Trion Bulldogs vs. Westbrook Christian Warriors + How To Watch

The Trion Bulldogs will face off against the Westbrook Christian Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trion has given up an average of 26.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Trion came up short against Mt. Zion on Friday, falling 41-17.

Despite the defeat, Trion saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Landon Kimbell rushed for 94 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 68 receiving yards and one score. Kimbell really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.

Meanwhile, while Westbrook Christian put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Ohatchee. The Warriors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Indians 48-0. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five games by 36 points or more so far this season.

Trion better focus on containing Brody Blevins and Brodey Wood as the pair were huge in Westbrook Christian's win. Blevins threw for 149 yards and a pair of TDs, while Wood rushed for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. That's the most rushing yards Wood has posted since back in September of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Westbrook Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Trion, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
