Volleyball Recap: Oaktree Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Spirit HomeSchool on Friday, Oaktree Academy came back down to earth. The Grizzlies came up short against the Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

While Oaktree Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-20.

Oaktree Academy now has a losing record of 3-4.

Oaktree Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Norfolk Christian on the 2nd. As for Veritas Collegiate Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th.
