Berlin's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lewis Mills Spartans. The win continues a trend for the Redcoats in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won seven in a row.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 27-25.

Mya Lamoureux was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 12 digs and three aces.

Lamoureux wasn't the only good server: Berlin was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in seven consecutive games dating back to last season.

Berlin's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lewis Mills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
