Soccer Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Academy managed to slip by Cair Paravel the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders came up short against the Lions on Monday, falling 4-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but St. Mary's Academy couldn't quite close it out.

St. Mary's Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7. As for Cair Paravel, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Academy will face off against Kansas City East Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cair Paravel, they will challenge Life Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
