Basketball Recap: Loudoun County HomeSchool Patriots vs. Paul Public Charter International Pirates
Loudoun County HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They fell 45-37 to the Paul Public Charter International Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-53 back in January.
Paul Public Charter International's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nasir Rodgers, who went 7 of 15 en route to 15 points. Kamrin Milam was another key player, putting up ten points.
Loudoun County HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Paul Public Charter International, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.
Loudoun County HomeSchool will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Spirit HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Paul Public Charter International, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 85-38 defeat against Friendship Tech Prep Academy on the 4th.
