With a playoff win on the line, Belleville West rose to the challenge on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-30 victory over Champaign Central. Belleville West's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Belleville West's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Champaign Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
