Basketball Recap: East Continues Home Dominance on Friday

East waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 60-54 victory over the Spencerport Rangers. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rangers, too.

East's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Spencerport, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

East will be playing at home against Greece Arcadia at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Spencerport will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Hilton at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
