Basketball Recap: Mcintosh's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

McIntosh had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past the Lovejoy Wildcats with a 53-49 win on Friday. The Chiefs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Despite the loss, Lovejoy still got an impressive performance from Noah Banks, who went 6 for 15 en route to 21 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Malachi Ford, who posted 11 points.

McIntosh's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Lovejoy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

McIntosh will venture away from home to face off against Banneker at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. McIntosh is facing Banneker at the right time seeing as Banneker is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Lovejoy has already played their next game, a 43-42 defeat against Midtown on the 20th.
