Seminole found their leader in freshman Landen Guerra, who picked up 229 receiving yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 42 yards. Guerra really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 93 yards. Jacob Gonzales was another key player, throwing for 223 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.

Seminole came up short against Greenwood in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 28-24. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Rangers' Lincoln Madrid, who rushed for 226 yards and three scores while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and one TD.
