Basketball Recap: Buford's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Jefferson on Monday, Buford came back down to earth. The Wolves received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 86-70 to the Lanier Longhorns. The loss put an end to the Wolves' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Buford fell to 2-1. As for Lanier, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buford will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Lanier, they will square off against Roswell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Longhorns' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
