Augusta Christian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over the Cardinal Newman Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 on Friday.

Augusta Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Cardinal Newman, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
