Volleyball Recap: Madison Scott Key Part of Team Effort in Cougars Win

Patrick County won the last time they faced North Stokes and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-16.

Patrick County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madison Scott out in front who had five aces and three digs. That's the most aces Scott has posted over her last eight matchups. Journey Moore also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Patrick County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Patrick County's record is now 7-4. As for North Stokes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patrick County will face off against Carroll County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Stokes, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against South Davidson at 6:00 p.m.
