Softball Recap: Case Falls to Silver Lake Regional in First Game of Season

Case had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 8-3 to the Silver Lake Regional Lakers on Friday.

Sydney Furtado made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Case will challenge Somerset Berkley Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Case's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Silver Lake Regional, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Scituate at 4:00 p.m.
