Football Game Preview: Gateway Gators vs. Penn-Trafford Warriors + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Mayson Mitchell and Cody Yacamelli are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Gateway Gators are taking a road trip to face off against the Penn-Trafford Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Gateway and Armstrong were almost perfectly matched up, but Gateway suffered a 29-28 loss. While the Gators didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the River Hawks 7-3 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Penn-Trafford strolled past Plum with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 33-14. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Penn-Trafford's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Gateway, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4.

Gateway ended up a good deal behind Penn-Trafford in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, losing 32-13. Thankfully for the Gators, Tasso Whipple (who rushed for 249 yards while picking up 8.9 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
