Chesapeake extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Bre Scarberry. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dawson-Bryant Hornets on Tuesday for which the team can thank Scarberry, who had ten digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

One reason for the win was Chesapeake's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 25-14.

Chesapeake's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Dawson-Bryant, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chesapeake is set to take on their familiar foe South Point at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dawson-Bryant will square off against rival Gallia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
